Selling
We are delighted that you are considering entrusting us with one or more vehicles for auction.
Simply send us an email at office@hg.auction or contact our experts in person. You can find the contact numbers on our homepage www.hg.auction.
Below you will find key information about the process of consigning your vehicle.
To register for an auction, please send a written request to HUMER, GRANNER & Co GmbH. The request must include the following information:
- Name, address, and bank details of the seller,
- Information on whether the seller is a business or a consumer,
- The item being submitted for auction
- The desired auction date, and
- If applicable, a minimum sale price (“limit”)
By signing the auction registration form, you as the seller declare your agreement to the conditions set out therein, the General Terms and Conditions, the commissions to be paid by the seller (submission and sales commission) as specified in the commission sheet, and the cancellation fee to be paid by you as the seller in the event of unilateral withdrawal of the auction registration.
An auction registration must be submitted for each item
Cancellation of registration
As the seller, you may withdraw items already assigned to the auction up to 24 hours before the start of the auction, subject to payment of the cancellation fee agreed upon in the auction registration. To do so, you must submit a copy of the auction registration and, if applicable, the power of attorney of an authorized representative.
We, HUMER, GRANNER & Co GmbH, may withdraw items until the start of the auction if there are justified doubts about their authenticity, technical condition, or your right of disposal, and terminate the contractual relationship. In this case, we will charge the agreed cancellation fee.
Unsold items
Unsold items may be purchased by third parties within three days of the auction at the limit price or, in the absence of such a price, at the starting price in a post-auction sale at the same commission rates as in the auction. From the fourth day after the auction, you as the seller must expressly agree to the post-auction sale.
Unsold items will only be re-auctioned with your express consent as the seller to a new auction date and a reduced minimum sale price, estimated price, or starting price.
In all other respects, the legal and financial conditions of the initial auction apply.
As the seller, you must collect unsold items within seven days of the auction. Any extension of the collection period requires our express consent.
If you allow the collection period to expire, we will transport the items from the auction site and store them at your expense. You are responsible for any transport and storage costs incurred as a result. Transport is at your own risk.
We also strongly recommend that you read our terms and conditions, the commission sheet, and the bidding increments before bringing in your vehicle, as they contain further important information.
