Introduced in 1931, the Puch 250 T was a milestone in Austrian motorcycle manufacturing. With its robust single-cylinder engine, 248 cm³ displacement, and precise craftsmanship, it was considered advanced and reliable – a motorcycle for connoisseurs that conveyed confidence and solidity during economically challenging years. Its characteristic features included a rigid tubular frame, a distinctive tank shape, and the technical finesse typical of Puch.
This 1931 Puch 250 T was first registered in August 1942 by Wilhelm Chalupa, an electrical engineer from Wolkersdorf, and today remains in a nearly incredible, original patinated condition. It is matching numbers, and the original vehicle title and registration certificate from 1942, along with the fuel ration voucher from 1942–1944, are preserved. The current consignor has brought the engine back to running condition, but has deliberately left the exterior appearance untouched. An exceptionally authentic piece of Austrian motorcycle history – with soul, substance, and rare documentation.
