About us

What we do

We auction vehicles with passion—and as ambiguous as that may sound, we mean it! One of them, Wolfgang Humer, spent 12 years ensuring that auctions of collector vehicles became a household name and a success in this country, while the other, Reinhard Granner, has been a reliable point of contact for repairs and restoration for just as long.

So we are not new kids on the block, but rather old hands who are now embarking on a new path together. With Humer, Granner & Co, we are creating a platform that is tailored to this passion and provides a stage for it when vehicles, regardless of how old, rare, or expensive they are, need to be passed on.

We are the auction house you can reach out and touch, because just like our customers, we live and breathe this passion. We don’t focus exclusively on records, but we enjoy achieving them and at the same time want to offer a diverse range of products that reflect every facet of our passion. Above all, we want to achieve the best possible result for our customers, both buyers and sellers, and ensure that enthusiasm for driving culture is passed on to new owners and new generations.

The experience gained from hundreds of vehicles that have passed through our hands and numerous auctions that we have organized, together with a transparent sales process with fair conditions, are what set us apart and what we offer our customers.

Who we are

A listener and storyteller in one—that’s how Wolfgang Humer best describes himself in his former role as the mastermind behind classic vehicles at the venerable Dorotheum auction house for twelve years. He is fascinated by the stories of the vehicles, their history, and their owners, at least as much as he is by the old metal itself. So it’s no surprise that he only managed to stay in the role of spectator for a year. He doesn’t think in terms of brands and models, but passionately in terms of chassis numbers, old photos, and racing history. With his stories about the cars and his encounters with their owners, he will now fill catalogs again and slip back into the role of auctioneer.

Reinhard Granner started restoring his first vehicle more than 35 years ago – after that, his interest in classic cars became a constant hobby, a passion, and a balance to his daily job. What’s more, after twelve years in the national and international development and management of Nespresso, his passion led him to found his own restoration business, “classics unlimited,” in 2012. Creating something with his own hands while preserving automotive cultural heritage made him happier than his career at a global corporation. And it still does today. Whether it’s two or four wheels, he brings them all back to life, knows the smallest screws, and knows how to turn them. Most recently, the Dorotheum hired him as an expert on classic vehicles, which clearly paved the way for the next step.
